Do you read the sfx?

Do people actually read or care about the sfx being there at all? It's not going to affect the style of releases, it's still up to the editors/typesetters whether they want to edit the sfx or not, put a footnote near the sfx, or don't do it at all.
But I generally still ask the translators to translate the sfx anyway
