I just got into a really nice anime recently, called Mushishi (not for the weak-minded). It's very episodic and there are no connection between the episodes I've seen (with the exception of Ginko who is the main character), but it makes a really strong impact right from the beginning.

Both Mushishi and Ouran are licensed.

Mushishi is being released by Del Rey and Ouran by Viz's Shoujo Beat. You can buy them at a bookstore.
Del Rey's manga are pretty high quality, even though they may be slightly more expensive. But Mushishi is worth the money in my opinion.

a few weeks ago, I found a chance to read "Operation liberate men" written by LEE Mi Ra, which was totally awesome. a beautiful art work with an interesting story line that is so rare these days, totally hooked me up. so pity the project was dropped. T_T

Later I tried to find more works of this wonderful Korean manga ka and I think this Shoujo can be a good choice. : "New Romeo and Juilet" by LEE Mi Ra.

the art looks pretty beautiful and base on what I have read from her works so far, I can tell the story should be very romantic and lovely too. it hasn't been licensed yet and no scanlating group is working on it as either. I tried to find more samples of it's pictures or raws but I had no luck. :-s here is the link to the page about this series in MU, hope it is good enough.
