Quick question, in which area do you need cleaning? Like, which manga needs a cleaner the most. I know you guys are already set on Vesperia.

I'm trying to get someone to cover mainly Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Destiny 2, and maybe the Comic Anthologies. Those are the ones without a set cleaner working on them and someone is just covering for the time being. The current cleaner working on it already does quite a lot of stuff.

That someone also should be able to work at a decent pace, like a chapter in one month for a standard 30-40 page chapter from when it's assigned and about 2 chapters for Comic Anthologies, which is about 8-14 pages per chapter (where 2 chapters will run to about between 25-40 pages). I can give a few days. If they're going to be too busy to be able to handle this type of speed for a while (I know people are not always very busy all the time, and they can be really busy during certain times of the year), they should let me know so that I will know to expect it to be later than usual. Main thing is, I stress on keeping me updated on their status and RL status, so I can decide what to do, how else to delegate the stuff to work on if needed, and whether to expect things late and so forth.

HAHA
I feel like such a noob lol
But I'm interested in becoming an editor. If not that position, then any other ones left?

I can still use at least one more editor.

Editor means doing both cleaning and typesetting (no need to be very good at redrawing).

You need to do the cleaning and typesetting tests to apply. You can refer to the the Cleaner recruitment thread (eternal-is-recruiting-more-cleaners-t58.html) for the details for cleaner and the Typesetter recruitment thread (recruiting-more-typesetters-t66.html) for the details for typesetter.

Well, if you can at least do basic redrawing that'd be enough. But if you're an expert at redrawing, that would be even better XD

I'll try to turn in at least one test by tonight. Do I pm it to you?

No, e-mail it to me and please zip them up. I don't want the images to load on my mail client.

Also, the Cleaner and Typesetter recruitment thread did mention how to submit the tests, didn't it?

Er...I totally remembered that I applied for editor here...>.> I took the advice you gave me about the adjustment layer, so I redid the tests. And I just can't redraw. Sorry about that.

Edit: Oh wait, do I email it to you now? @.@

Err, yeah, test submission is via e-mail ^_^"

Don't worry about the redrawing. I only want to know how well one can redraw. Even if you can't or can only do basic redrawing, doesn't really matter much. Nagi pretty much takes care of any hard redrawing XD

I was looking to apply a few weeks ago, but my internet was being stupid..
Just wondering before I send my tests in, is it too late for the position of editor?

It depends. I have quite a handful of people apply since last month (the latest release with the latest recruitment ad) and I've accepted most of them, and now I'm kind of flooded with...uhh...quite a number of with (and no work to distribute right now ^_^)

But you can still apply though. I don't mind accessing your skill level, how you do it and see where you stand, and see if I can accept you if you pass the requirements. That is, of course, if you don't mind the lack of work for a while. I'm still trying to catch up with my obscenely huge scanning backlog right now ^_^"

Alright then, I won't bother with sending them in then, I'd hate to be the fifth wheel.
Good luck with your scanlations and thanks for all the hard work into releasing them.

Hi!
I just came to ask what you needed the most for now as you seem to have hired a nice number of editors.
If it is translating I can't help you as I don't know Japanese much but for the rest I could try to (re)take tests.
